Mako, the Tidewalker, emerged into the world with an enigmatic past, his true origin obscured and unknown to most, including his self. Rumors swirled, some suggesting he was a creation of some mage experimenting with new aquatic life forms. Others whispered about ancient divine rituals involving ancient, forgotten deities. What seemed certain was that his existence was a unique anomaly, as he had yet to meet another like himself.

     And so his past remained an enigma to himself, hidden deep within his consciousness, like an ancient scroll waiting to be unfurled.

     Mako's life took an unforeseen turn when he encountered the notorious Illithid pirate, Captain Netherfang, and joined the crew of the plagueship, Krakken's Doom. The experience was like opening a door to a shadowy world he never knew existed, one filled with swashbuckling adventure, cutthroat treasure seekers, and a code of honor forged in the crucible of the high seas. It was during these tumultuous times that he discovered his unwavering loyalty to his crewmates and his indomitable courage in the face of danger. 

     Eventually, when betrayal struck and the treacherous Captain Netherfang cheated him out of his rightful share, Mako's resolve was tested like never before. He vowed vengeance, departing from the treacherous crew, setting forth on a quest to reclaim his stolen riches, and unearth the truth about his own origins—a truth that lay dormant in the depths of his past and would soon surface in the world above.
